Austral Facility Services (AFS) is a trusted name in delivering high-quality cleaning services across various sectors. We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Site Supervisor to oversee operations at a school site, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for students and staff.

About the Role:

As a Cleaning Site Supervisor, you will lead and support a dedicated cleaning team, ensuring high cleaning standards are met while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. You will play a crucial role in team coordination, quality assurance, and compliance with school-specific cleaning requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Supervision – Manage and motivate a cleaning team to achieve service excellence.
  • Quality Control – Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are upheld.
  • Scheduling & Operations – Coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Compliance & Safety – Maintain adherence to WHS and school-specific cleaning regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Communicate effectively with school representatives to meet expectations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably within a school or education setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
  • A current Working with Children Check / QLD Blue Card (or the ability to obtain one) is required.
  • Knowledge of school cleaning requirements, including WHS and infection control protocols.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
