The Company: Wemyss Group (Wemyss Estates Pty Ltd) is a small, diverse group of companies based in Perth, WA, with interests in agriculture, property, and mining services.  The group is the Australian subsidiary of the family-owned Wemyss Development Company Ltd, based in Edinburgh, UK, with over 60 years in business within Australia, and a commitment to continue focusing on growth.  To achieve this goal, we are currently seeking to recruit a motivated and reliable Cropping Farm Hand to join our team in supporting a large-scale broadacre farming operation. The property runs a 9,500-hectare mixed cropping program, primarily focused on cereals and grain production.

About the Role

You'll be hands-on with all aspects of broadacre cropping, including:

  • Operating and maintaining modern machinery equipped with Controlled Traffic Farming (CTF) systems and Variable Rate Technology (VRT)
  • Seeding, spraying, fertilising, and harvesting operations
  • General farm duties including fencing and equipment maintenance
  • Ensuring strict compliance with WHS policies for a safe work environment
What We're Looking For
  • Cropping experience is essential
  • MC licence preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong understanding of modern farming technology (CTF & VRT)
  • Commitment to safe work practices and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Physically fit, dependable, and safety-conscious
