For more than 50 years, Gladstone Area Water Board has played an integral role within the Gladstone region, consistently delivering a safe and secure water supply to our customers. A Queensland Government bulk water supply authority, GAWB owns and operates Awoonga Dam on the Boyne River, along with a network of delivery pipelines, water treatment plants and other bulk water distribution infrastructure.
About the Role
The Team Coordinator provides executive support and administrative duties to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Corporate Services business unit. The incumbent supports the day-to-day operations of the business unit, e.g. attend to internal and external stakeholder enquiries, requests, directions, and activities, e.g. personal or electronic communications, requisitions.
About You
GAWB is seeking an enthusiastic Team Coordinator with a demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as in a team, in a professional and positive manner with a "can do attitude". You should be tactful and discrete when dealing with matters of a sensitive nature.
Your key accountabilities include:
Facilitate and execute administrative support tasks to:
- Support the day-to-day operations of the business unit
- Maintain and utilise all required manual and electronic documentation, processes, and systems
- Contribute to and promote a continuous improvement approach to enhance organisational capability and performance
Essential Experience / Capabilities:
- Minimum 2 years experience in an administrative position
- Demonstrated high level expertise in a variety of computer software products in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Office 365, SharePoint
- Well developed organisation skills, including the ability to manage and prioritise a wide range of tasks with minimal supervision
Desirable
- Certificate in Business (Office Administration) or Diploma in Business Administration
