Job Description

We are seeking multiple specialist ICT contractors to support a large-scale digital transformation, cloud uplift, and endpoint modernisation program. This engagement includes 2 x Cloud & Endpoint Engineers and 2 x Azure Engineers to deliver secure, scalable solutions, accelerate Azure deployments, strengthen endpoint management, and improve operational maturity through automation and documentation.

You will work under the direction of technical leads, collaborate with architects and delivery teams, and contribute to building a modern, secure, and resilient ICT environment.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Endpoint Engineer (x2)

  • Design, implement and automate Azure infrastructure and application deployments
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Azure services
  • Design and build pre-production and non-production environments
  • Implement Microsoft Endpoint Manager and managed device platforms
  • Integrate Azure services with Active Directory and relevant security platforms
  • Integrate solutions with ITSM and monitoring tools
  • Participate in technical workshops, transition activities, and stakeholder engagement

Azure Engineer (x2)

  • Produce technical documentation including SOPs and as-built artefacts
  • Prepare cloud security documentation aligned with SOC guidance
  • Support secure cloud architecture design
  • Collaborate with solution architects and cross-functional teams
  • Support Essential Eight implementation (desirable)
  • Participate in workshops and stakeholder engagement

Mandatory Skills & Experience
  • Proven Azure engineering experience
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) capability
  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager experience
  • Identity, security and ITSM integration experience
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
Highly Desirable
  • Microsoft Power Platform knowledge
  • Microsoft Teams / Teams Telephony experience
  • ServiceNow (or similar) ITSM experience
  • Essential Eight experience

Contract Details

  • Location: ACT
  • Work arrangement: Hybrid (standard 3 days onsite / 2 days WFH; initial weeks 5 days onsite)
  • Duration: 12 months + 2 x 12-month extension options

Security Requirements
