The Role

In this role, you'll take ownership of Omni's modern Microsoft 365 environment and play a key part in keeping our cloud services running securely and smoothly for the whole organisation. Your days will be a mix of hands‑on technical work, troubleshooting interesting challenges, and driving security uplift activities across Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender. You'll be the go‑to person for everything from identity and access management to endpoint configuration and threat response, helping us mature our cloud capabilities while keeping our people productive and protected.

You'll work closely with a small, friendly ICT team where your ideas and expertise will genuinely shape how we operate. Whether you're implementing new M365 features, fine‑tuning security policies, improving automation, or supporting staff with cloud‑related issues, you'll have the chance to influence real outcomes and build a secure, efficient digital workplace. Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate is a proactive cloud specialist who thrives in a small, high‑performing ICT team and brings deep experience across Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure AD/Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender/Purview security tools. You will be someone who enjoys owning technical outcomes end‑to‑end, has the confidence to lead security uplift activities, and can translate complex cloud and cyber concepts into clear, practical guidance for stakeholders. You take pride in maintaining a secure, well‑run, modern cloud environment and are comfortable juggling operational responsibilities, project work, and continuous improvement in a friendly, fast‑moving organisation.

You will bring:

• Demonstrated experience administering and securing Microsoft 365 and cloud‑based environments
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to independently manage complex technical tasks
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team‑first mindset
• A proactive approach to cyber security, with experience responding to alerts and improving controls

Essential Requirements

The below key requirements are required to be demonstrated by all employees to Omni.

• Be an Australian Citizen
• Hold a current Australian Government Security Clearance or be willing to obtain one
• Have excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills

In addition, this role will require:

• Demonstrated experience in cloud engineering, modern workplace engineering, or M365 administration within a corporate environment.
