Refrigeration Mechanic

What's The Role
We're seeking a trade qualified and experienced
Refrigeration Mechanic
. It is an exciting opportunity to join our industry leading transportation company and play a key role in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses to meet their transport needs.

Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Limited To

• Safe Always - Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
• Transport Refrigeration Maintenance & Repair - Servicing, maintaining, and repairing transport refrigeration units; Repairing refrigeration and diesel components; Ensuring units operate correctly before departure.
• Compliance with Maintenance Standards - Performing work in line with Lindsay Transport's maintenance plan.
• Documentation & Record Keeping - Completing paperwork and updating service records for all work performed.
• Work Environment & Flexibility - Working onsite at the Sydney Depot or customer locations; Working independently or collaboratively within the workshop team.

What You'll Bring:

• Trade qualified Light or Heavy Vehicle background.
• ARC refrigerant handling license (can assist in obtaining for the right applicant).
• Clear and competent communication skills.
• The ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment.
• In-depth knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems and their components.
• Demonstrated ability to fault find, dissemble, repair and reassemble.
• A commitment to workplace health and safety (essential).
• Thermo-King experience highly regarded.
• Own basic tools (specialist tools are provided) (tool allowance paid)
