Play Fair, Pay Early. The Role The Role: You'll be part of a small, collaborative claims team that manages a broad spectrum of complex and interesting claims. These include Liability, Professional Indemnity, Employment Practices Liability, Design and Construct, and Inquiry Cost claims, among others. You'll step into the dynamic world of claims as a Senior Claims Adjuster You'll be at the heart of our operations, responsible for managing complex claims, utilising your technical expertise to achieve optimal and timely outcomes. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth workflows and top-notch service
Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end claims management - claims analysis, evidence collection, strategy formulation and negotiating settlements or overseeing such steps through the appointment of external lawyers and/or loss adjusters
  • Prepare reports and updates on significant claims for internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining appropriate claim reserves, records and diaries in accordance with the claim manual and management direction
The Candidate - Skills, Qualifications & Experience Who We're Looking For: We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service. You should be a quick learner, able to adapt to new systems and processes with ease. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including legal service providers, brokers, and insureds, will be key to your success. A knack for problem-solving and a meticulous approach to managing data and documentation will set you apart. If you have a background in insurance claims or legal experience, that's a big plus
Experience in medical malpractice insurance and financial lines/liability insurance is highly desirable.

  • Legal qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years insurance experience
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Understanding of the importance of,
    • acting within authority, guidelines policies and procedures
    • requirements of corporate auditing principles and processes
Desired;
  • Insurance related qualification and/or experience in an insurance claims department or legal experience highly regarded
  • Medical malpractice insurance experience highly desirable
  • Experience with financial lines/liability insurance highly desirable
