Senior Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering team in Perth and are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the team.

In terms of our tech stack, we host on Kubernetes in AWS, we run Kotlin with Springboot on the JVM and TypeScript / React on our client side. Our database is DynamoDB with Snowflake as our Data warehouse and we utilise a modern event driven approach using Kafka.

What you will bring to the role:

• Strong knowledge of React with TypeScript for component-based UI development
• Experience with Redux Toolkit and Redux Saga for state management and side effects
• Proven capability with React Router for client-side routing
• Styling experience using SCSS/CSS Modules with BEM naming conventions
• Proficiency in Bootstrap for responsive design
• Familiarity with Storybook for component development and documentation
• Testing experience using Jest & React Testing Library for unit testing
• Experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing
• Some backend experience with Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform for deploying and managing scalable systems
• Familiarity with DynamoDB and Kafka
• Strong ability to design front-end systems for high scalability and performance
• Proven capability to lead the delivery of technical projects
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to problem solving
• Ability to mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their technical growth
