Daracon's Plant, Transport & Heavy Haulage Division has over the years, developed into a large fleet of diverse vehicles plant. A key part of our success in this division has been our highly specialised and experienced fleet servicemen who maintain our vehicles to the highest standard.

We currently have the need for a highly experienced Field Service Plant Mechanic to join our team based at our Beresfield workshop on a permanent basis.

This role will see you reporting to the Plant Maintenance Supervisor and working with a highly motivated team.

To be considered for this rare opportunity you will:

  • Be a trade qualified Plant Mechanic
  • Have extensive experience with Construction earthmoving equipment
  • Have experience working on a wide range of ancillary equipment
  • Have demonstrated experience working within a team environment
  • Be prepared to travel to site to undertake repairs and servicing
  • Have a high awareness of safety and demonstrated experience working with a safety focussed environment
  • Be prepared to undertake shift work when required ie: rail shutdowns and afternoon shift rotations
