Our client is a residential aged care facility located in Ballina, NSW. They are currently looking to fill 10 Aged Care Employee Roles within their facility, with work commencing from November 2025 onwards.

Key duties include:

As an Aged Care Employee, you will provide quality direct care services in line with Australia's Aged Care Quality Standards and service policies to clients including:

· Delivering meals

· Basic food preparation

· Plating meals for residents

· Serving morning and afternoon tea, lunch and dinner to residents

· Stocking area kitchenettes

· Washing u and general kitchen tasks in each wing as required

· Assisting with event function

You will be paid under Aged Care Award – Level 2, at an hourly rate of $30.18 per hour, with a minimum of 38 hours of work, per week. This will be aligned with the Fair Work Commission's annual reviews, including any increases to the National Minimum Wage and minimum award rates of pay. You will be offered between 1-4 years of work with potential to upskill.

Candidates should have the following personal qualities:

  • Relatable and engaging with highly developed interpersonal, communication skills and emotional intelligence with the proven ability to foster relationships and connect with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Empathy and understanding of people who are aged, have medical conditions, dementia or challenging behaviour.
  • Respect for the resident's environment and their other carers including family and significant others.
  • A positive attitude to work, with a willingness to learn and commit to Health+ Peoples and our client's values.
