Join UGL as a Rope Access Technician – Offshore Bass Strait Project

UGL is seeking experienced Rope Access Technicians of all levels and trades (Boilermakers, Rigger/Scaffolders, Mechanical Fitters, E&I Technicians, Painter/Blasters) to support ADHOC maintenance activities on decommissioning oil/gas platforms in Bass Strait. Victoria Point of Hire is preferred, but we will consider applicants from other Eastern states. 

About You
  • Offshore oil and gas experience
  • IRATA certification – mandatory (all levels welcome)
  • Trade qualifications in Painting or Engineering Fabrication (desirable)
  • HRWL for Scaffolding or Rigging – Advanced (desirable)
  • Current Working at Heights & Confined Space Entry tickets
  • BOSIET/HUET/FOET (training available if required)
  • Ability to pass offshore medical and pre-employment checks
