Cater Care Australia is seeking a talented Cook to join our team in Mereweather, NSW in Aged Care/Retirement facility. Description:

We are focused on attracting people with the right attitude and personality, who have spark, personality, care for each other and enjoy working in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Artfully garnishing dishes to enhance visual appeal.

Effectively communicating with kitchen staff to coordinate the timing of cold dishes with hot dishes.

Collaborating with other cooks to maintain kitchen efficiency.

Collaborating with Chefs and other kitchen staff to align cold dishes with overall menu plans.(This might depend upon the head chef including them in the creation)

Adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards

Roster:

Monday -Friday 6:00 am- 2:00 pm

Previous experience in a similar role

Warm & friendly energy

Punctuality & reliability

Pride in personal appearance and hygiene

Adherence to food & general safety practices (food safety certificate an advantage)
