A Senior Barista is responsible for ensuring high-quality coffee service, maintaining smooth café operations, and delivering excellent customer experiences. Key responsibilities include:

1. Coffee Preparation & Quality Control

  • Expertly prepare espresso-based drinks, ensuring consistency and high standards.
  • Must have latte art skills, creating visually appealing coffee presentations.
  • Calibrate grinders and espresso machines for optimal extraction.
  • Maintain knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and specialty drinks.

2. Training & Leadership

  • Train and mentor junior baristas to improve their skills and efficiency.
  • Ensure all staff follow proper coffee-making techniques and hygiene standards.
  • Lead by example, maintaining a professional and energetic café environment.

3. Customer Service & Retention

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to encourage repeat business.
  • Build relationships with regular customers and handle special requests.
  • Resolve complaints professionally to maintain a positive café reputation.

4. Café Operations & Maintenance

  • Oversee daily café operations, ensuring efficiency and cleanliness.
  • Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, and other supplies.
  • Ensure equipment maintenance and report any technical issues.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $24.34 – $35.30 per hour
