About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on individual to join our Currumbin Waters factory in a hybrid role:

  • Spray Painting (approx. 20%) – Operating our spray booth to paint timber and PVC shutters using single pack paint (with preference for candidates experienced in 2-pack coatings).
  • Production Line (approx. 80%) – Assisting with the assembly and production of plantation shutters and related products.

This role is ideal for a spray painter who wants to step back from full-time booth work but still enjoy painting. If your quality and skill are strong, we'd love to expand our custom colour range – which could see this role evolve into 80–90% spray painting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Spray painting shutters and components using single pack paints (with potential to expand into 2-pack finishes).
  • Surface preparation, coating application, and quality control.
  • Assembling shutter products using basic hand and power tools.
  • General factory labour, including lifting, handling, and working on the production line.
  • Assisting with deliveries and pickups (company vehicle provided).
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience as a commercial spray painter (single pack essential, 2-pack preferred).
  • Eye for detail and high-quality workmanship.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or factory work an advantage.
  • Current driver's licence (required).
  • Physically fit, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
