About the role

MG Electrical Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Qualified HV/LV/Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Alice Springs, NT. This full-time role will see you providing expert mechanical services for a variety of light/heavy vehicles, including diesel-powered machinery.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing scheduled and unplanned maintenance on light and heavy vehicles and machinery
  • Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
  • Servicing and overhauling engines, transmissions, differentials and other major components
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work completed (GearBox Software)
  • Providing quality workmanship and exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

  • Formal trade qualifications as a Heavy Vehicle/Diesel Mechanic (minimum LV)
  • Proven experience working on a variety of heavy vehicles and machinery
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Good communication and customer service skills
