About the role

Seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician / Linesman to join the team at MG Electrical Services Pty Ltd in Alice Springs, NT. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in the electrical trade.

Position open to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Year Apprentices.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, circuits and equipment
  • Learn to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics and specifications
  • Develop proficiency in the use of hand and power tools required for electrical work
  • Gain experience in the testing and commissioning of electrical installations
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

  • Commitment to completing an electrical apprenticeship and obtaining your electrical license
  • Strong interest and aptitude for hands-on practical work
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to work at heights or in confined spaces
  • Willingness to learn and a positive, proactive attitude
  • Strong safety awareness and a commitment to upholding safety standards
