What does the job look like?

Our Intermodal Business Unit has an opportunity for an experienced Transport Operations Administrator to join our team based in Regency Park, SA. In this role you will support the Operations team to ensure site and financial administration functions are completed efficiently and in line with customer requirements. This is a 12 month max-term contract working Tuesday - Saturday from 8am - 4pm. Key areas:

  • Ensure all Linfox processes, policies and procedures are complied with, including receiving orders, late pick-ups and communicating service issues
  • Management and reconciliation of distribution records including PODs, driver run sheets and sub-contractor payments to comply with customer invoicing 
  • Process freight plans into SAP and assisting with planning of loads for key customers
  • Assist with weekly and monthly financial reporting and documentation, including weekly KPI's
  • Ensure correct reconciliation and payment of internal and external subcontractor invoices

  • 3 + years of experience within an administrative role within the Transport/Logistics Industry 
  • Experience across financial and operational administration requirements including freight plans, invoicing, payroll and payment related activities
  • Prior experience working with systems including SAP, Microsoft Office suite & Transport related systems 
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Exposure to rail transport will be highly regarded 
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service to ensure customer requirements are satisfactory
