Role Overview:

We are seeking both male and female Disability Support Workers with proven experience in supporting clients with community access and working with mental health conditions. You will play a key role in helping clients engage with their communities, participate in activities, and maintain their mental and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients in accessing community activities, appointments, education, or recreational programs.
  • Provide compassionate and understanding support to individuals living with mental health conditions.
  • Encourage and promote client independence while ensuring safety and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks where required.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of support provided.

Essential Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in community access support and working with people with mental health conditions.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented approaches.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or Mental Health, or equivalent (preferred).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transport.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 24 per week

Licence/Certification:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Preferred)
  • Working with Children Check (Preferred)
  • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • Driver Licence (Preferred)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module (Preferred)
  • Infection Prevention and Control Certificate (Preferred)
  • Fire Safety Training (Preferred)
