Regional Field Technician

Location: Regional and Metro NSW (travel required – all in work vehicles)

Employment Type: Casual full time hours, days vary from 4-5 a week.

Salary: Competitive salary for this role. Pay varies from $35-50 for the correct candidate.

We're seeking a motivated Regional Field Technician to join our small team completing work on the NBN project in regional and metro NSW. This role blends hands-on physical work with technical problem-solving in an outdoor environment. No prior industry-specific experience needed – we're looking for quick learners who are eager to learn a new role and progress quickly. We normally travel on Monday's from Sydney to a regional area and back to Sydney on Thursday/Friday. All accommodation is paid for and you are paid for the travel to and from site each day.

What You'll Do:


•  Site survey and scoping of NBN assets. (Pit and pipe)


•  Physical work including pushing fibreglass rods


•  Perform physical tasks such as installations, inspections, and site setups.


•  Collaborate remotely with the team to ensure smooth operations.


•  Travel regionally (4-5 days/week), with all accommodation paid for and transport arranged.

•  Smart, adaptable individuals who learn quickly – ideal for university students that are flexible with their roster or Tradies looking for a different opportunity.


•  Comfortable with physical work and outdoor/regional travel; must be reliable and self-motivated.


•  Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.


•  Valid driver's license essential; White Card or similar certification a bonus (but not required – training provided).


•  Australian residency or work rights.
