Monday - 9:00am to 5:00pm

Wednesday - 9:00am to 5:00pm

Prendiville Avenue Medical Centre is a long-standing, patient-focused medical centre proudly serving the local community in Perth's northern suburbs. Our dedicated team of GPs works alongside allied health professionals to provide comprehensive and accessible healthcare in a friendly and supportive environment.

We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our welcoming team. You will play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care, supporting our doctors, and ensuring the smooth clinical operation of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

1. Providing comprehensive nursing support to GPs, including immunisations, wound care, ECGs, spirometry, and other clinical procedures
2. Conducting health assessments, chronic disease management, and care plans
3. Assisting with recalls, reminders, and patient follow-up
4. Ensuring accurate clinical documentation and maintaining patient records using Best Practice software
5. Managing infection control processes and maintaining treatment room stock and equipment
6. Supporting health promotion and preventive care initiatives within the practice

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse (essential)
• Previous experience working in general practice (highly regarded)
• Proficiency with Best Practice software (desirable)
• Sound knowledge of Medicare item numbers and chronic disease management processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
