At Turner Freeman Lawyers, we are passionate about providing exceptional legal services and supporting our staff to grow and succeed. We are currently seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Junior Legal Assistant to join our Workers Compensation team in our Adelaide office.

About the role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their career in the legal industry. As a Junior Legal Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the team, helping to ensure a seamless and efficient legal practice. You will also assist with reception duties, including answering overflow calls and covering reception during absences and lunch breaks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Diary and matter management

  • Drafting, formatting and amending legal documents and correspondence

  • Client liaison and file management

  • Preparing bills and archiving completed matters

  • Handling document requests and follow-ups

  • Performing general administrative and reception support as needed

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in an administrative role (legal experience highly regarded)

  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional phone manner

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • A proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to learn and contribute
