About the Role

Love animals and the outdoors? We're looking for a reliable, professional, and passionate Pet Carer to join our mobile pet care team. This isn't a side hustle or just-for-fun gig. It's a commitment to showing up, rain or shine, and delivering top-tier care to pets across the Hills District. You'll be walking and caring for small to large dog breeds, engaging in solo walks, pet visits, and transport services. If you're serious about animal care and ready to treat every client like your own, we want to hear from you.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Walking dogs individually or in small groups across various suburbs (such as Box Hill, North Kellyville, Quakers Hill, Colebee)
  • Providing in-home care including feeding, playtime, light grooming, and pet taxi transport
  • Handling pets of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
  • Keeping clear, timely communication with clients and our team
  • Maintaining punctuality, professionalism, and pet-first standards every shift

About You

  • 1 year experience working with animals (e.g. doggy daycare, boarding, training facility, pet sitting, vet nursing, or dog handling in professional settings)
  • Comfortable with all dog sizes – from Jack Russells to Ridgebacks
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Genuinely passionate about animal welfare, not just looking for a casual gig

Rates

  • Casual: $29/hour (includes reasonable travel time) + super + petrol allowance paid weekly
  • Independent Contractor: $37/hour (includes reasonable travel time).
