Freight and Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Freight & Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role provides key support to our international logistics operations, ensuring freight movements are well-documented, on time, and compliant. The position also includes hands-on involvement in weekly airfreight shipments and coordination with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with freight forwarders, transport providers, and warehouse staff to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, customs documentation, and shipping details.
• Resolve delivery issues, discrepancies, or delays in a professional and efficient manner.
• Support the Logistics Manager with reporting, data analysis, and process improvements.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Oversee weekly airfreight arrivals, including receiving, checking, and packing goods (light physical work).

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous administration experience, ideally within logistics or supply chain.
• Strong organisational abilities and excellent attention to detail.
• Confident problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Pronto Xi or Odoo is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
• Familiarity with freight or customs processes desirable.
