Our cleaning system is unique to the industry and ensures minimal manual handling risks to protect our staff.

We are seeking a Periodical Cleanerto join our cleaning operations team, with an immediate start. This role focuses on delivering high-quality scheduled and ad-hoc periodical detailed cleaning services within aged care environments, ensuring infection prevention, safety compliance, and professional presentation at all times.

You will work across multiple facilities, supporting our contract outcomes through scheduled cleaning, equipment operation, and responsive service delivery. Flexibility, reliability, and attention to detail are essential in this role. Our aged care sites are located across Sydney metropolitan area, plus Newcastle, the Central Coast, Port Macquarie and Canberra. You will be supplied with a company vehicle, all equipment and a work phone.

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Carry out all scheduled and ad-hoc periodical cleaning tasks in line with site requirements and standard operating procedures.
  • Operate and maintain commercial cleaning equipment, ensuring it remains in safe working condition.
  • Maintain strict compliance with hygiene, infection control, and WHS standards.
  • Respond to facility requests promptly and professionally.
  • Provide coverage for staff leave across various sites.
  • Support site audits, reporting, and compliance activities.
  • Build strong working relationships with facility staff, residents, and the Majestic team.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning and/or aged care (preferred up to 5 years of experience but not essential).
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and follow set procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel between multiple sites and sound knowledge of Sydney and surrounding areas.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a professional attitude.
  • Be courteous and respectful of the elderly
  • Be punctual and have good customer service and communication skills with clients
  • Have good written and verbal English skills
  • Have the ability to work under limited direction
  • Hold a current valid driver's licence and are able to drive a van
  • Candidates must pass a National Police Check before commencement and must have full rights to work in Australia
  • As we work in the aged care sector, full COVID-19 vaccination is a mandatory requirement (you will have had 3 doses of the COVID-19 vaccination)

Aged Care or hospital experience is advantageous but not essential.
