About the role

JPC ELECTRICAL AND SOLAR' is seeking an enthusiastic Solar Trade Assistant/Apprentice/Electrician to join our team in Gawler, South Australia. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for assisting in the installation and maintenance of solar power systems.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist with the installation of solar panels, inverters and other electrical components
  • Participate in the maintenance and repair of existing solar power systems
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and to the highest standards
  • Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and provide excellent service
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to job tasks
  • Participate in ongoing training to develop your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

  • Experience as a solar trade assistant, apprentice or qualified electrician
  • Strong practical skills and the ability to work with your hands
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Willingness to learn and develop your skills in the solar industry
