Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the quality of all meals and food items from the preparation to the presentation stages.
  • Ability to demonstrate proper techniques and provide guidance to others with preparing, cooking, freezing and preserving foods.
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with Management, kitchen and wait staff for all food preparation, dietary, and specific requests.
  • Working with the kitchen team to ensure that all hygiene regulations are adhered to and maintained.
  • Preparing and cooking food

Knowledge required:

  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Reliable, Presentable, and Punctual
  • Capability to perform in a fast-paced Kitchen
  • A passion for food and the ability to deliver outstanding dishes
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced Kitchen environment

Qualification and experience

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Certificate III commercial cookery or equivalent.
  • Experience in leading a kitchen team.

This position will start casual, with the potential to move to full-time.
