About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and reliable Trade Assistant to join our shed building and structural steel erection team in Adelaide, SA. You'll work alongside experienced tradesmen on a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial projects, helping with steel framing, cladding, and general site setup.

This role suits someone who's hands-on, safety-focused, and keen to learn new skills in a supportive crew that values hard work and a good attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist tradesmen with shed erection, steel installation, and general site work
  • Help install wall and roof cladding, flashings, and gutters
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Prepare and move materials for daily site tasks
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
  • Follow site instructions and safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For

  • White Card (required)
  • Scissor Lift (EWP under 11m) licence (required)
  • Driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Experience in shed building, roofing, or steelwork (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong work ethic, teamwork, and attention to detail
  • Moderate level of physical fitness to handle construction work and materials
  • Willingness to learn and take direction on site
  • Australian citizenship required
