is partnering with a well-respected, quality-driven builder on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to take the lead on a diverse portfolio of residential projects — from detailed renovations to complex rebuilds.

About The Company
This is not your average insurance builder.

Our client is certified for Large Loss Work and delivers residential projects ranging from $50K to $1.5 million across the Sydney Metro area. Their work spans from bathroom refurbishments to major structural restorations, often on behalf of major insurers. Headquartered in Sydney South, the business is supported by a tight-knit, multicultural team that values trust, communication, and pride in workmanship.

About The Role
You'll manage 5-6 active projects at a time, coordinating 2-10 trades and subcontractors per site. From structural alterations to internal high-end finishes, you'll ensure each job stays on track, on spec, and on time. Your role is delivery-focused — you'll be supported by a Project Manager, Claims Resolution Manager, and a hands-on Director, freeing you up to run the sites efficiently.

About You

  • Experienced Site Manager or senior Leading Hand ready to take the next step
  • Background in carpentry or robust technical building skills
  • Experience in high-end residential renovations is highly desirable
  • Insurance building experience is a bonus — although they are happy to train the right person
  • Confident reading and interpreting plans and scopes of work
  • Highly organised with strong scheduling abilities
  • Pride in quality and a keen eye for workmanship and finishing detail
  • Self-motivated, scope-driven and takes full ownership of delivery
  • Personable and empathetic — able to manage client relationships with care
  • Assertive and vocal in managing trades to meet deadlines and standards
  • Hands-on, solutions-focused, and always one step ahead
  • This could be an ideal fit for someone from a residential fit-out or remedial background, with strong site and structural coordination experience.
