About the Role

Basix Plastix is a leading manufacturer and supplier of poly water tanks across the Hunter and wider region. We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. This full-time role is central to ensuring our customers receive their tanks on time, safely, and in excellent condition.


Key Responsibilities
  • Safely load, transport, and deliver poly water tanks to customers across the catchment area.
  • Ensure deliveries are carried out efficiently, with care taken to protect products during transit.
  • Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance of vehicles.
  • Assist with on-site placement of tanks using appropriate delivery equipment.
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service at delivery sites.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records.
  • Work closely with the operations and sales team to coordinate delivery schedules.
  • Adhere to all road transport laws, WHS requirements, and company policies.

Skills & Experience
  • Current MR driver's licence preferred (HR also highly regarded).
  • Previous delivery, transport, or logistics experience desirable.
  • Ability to operate delivery equipment (forklifts, cranes, trailers) safely (training provided if required).
  • Strong physical fitness – role involves manual handling of large tanks.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
