Labourers and Forklift Drivers

Ipswich, Australia AWX Brisbane Full time $40,000 - $60,000 per year

AWX are currently seeking reliable forklift drivers and labourers for various clients in the Southwest Brisbane and Ipswich area. These positions will be Monday to Friday casual but on-going for the right fit.

In order to be successful for these roles, you must possess the following:

  • A great attitude towards work, reliability and ability to follow instructions
  • Be physically fit and able to do repetitive heavy lifting
  • Driver's license & own transport
  • Pass a drug and functional capacity assessment
  • Full workings rights in Australia
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment

Additionally for the forklift role you will require:

  • A valid Australian LF forklift licence
  • Current or previous experience working within a cold room/freezer environment
  • Extensive experience in loading and unloading trucks with the use of a forklift
  • Availability to work day shifts from 5am Monday to Friday
  • Current Q Fever or willing to undergo your Q Fever vaccination
