Carpentry Labourer

Our team at Westside Carpentry is seeking a hard working, motivated labourer to assist our team of carpenters on site.

**About us**:
Westside Carpentry provides quality carpentry work in Ipswich, South Brisbane, and Surrounds. Our team provides a large range of carpentry services including framing, decking, flooring, roofing, bathroom and kitchen renovations, door and window installations, plasterwork, painting and more.

Our head carpenter Rico founded Westside Carpentry in 2009 after completing his master craftsmanship. Rico quickly found that his service was in high demand due to the quality of his workmanship and his strong work ethic and high standards. As the demand for work increased Rico built a small team of hardworking and professional carpenters, mentored by him and his vast knowledge and experience in carpentry.

**What are we looking for?**
- Hold a White Card or have the ability to obtain one ASAP
- Have a drivers license and a reliable car
- Be physically fit and capable to lift heavy objects and perform manual labour.
- Be resilient, motivated, and reliable, take instructions and directions.
- Be available for full time work 38+ hours
- Display strong communication skills

**The role**:
Tasks include the below but are not limited to:

- Providing assistance to carpenters
- General landscape / gardening
- Excavation labour
- Demolition & removal of site debris
- Cleaning & maintaining site area
- Transporting materials to site

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
