Education and Training Supervisor – Sunshine Coast

We're on the lookout for a dynamic Education and Training Supervisor to deliver frontline training and education to our valued SLSQ members across the region.

In this hands-on role, you'll be instrumental in delivering nationally recognised and non-accredited lifesaving awards and training programs. Your work will directly support the growth, skills, and sustainability of our volunteer surf lifesaving clubs and their members. This position is based in our Mooloolaba regional office.

What You'll Do:

  • Leading the coordination and delivery of surf lifesaving education across the region.
  • Building and nurturing strong connections with key stakeholders.
  • Supporting the rollout of other SLSQ programs to strengthen our community impact.

About You:

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • SLSA Bronze Medallion / Certificate II in Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue)
  • Working with Children Blue Card (current)
  • Strong knowledge of Surf Life Saving education programs
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110, TAE40116 or higher – or working towards)
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to write clear and professional evaluation reports
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • High-level computer proficiency
  • Current driver's license

Desirable:

  • Experience as a Trainer/Assessor in Surf Life Saving
  • SLSQ operational awards such as IRB Crew/Driver qualifications
