People & Culture Adviser (Recruitment & Compliance)

Your RoleBased at Mascot, NSW, the People & Culture Advisor (Recruitment & Compliance) will play a key role in providing specialist HR support across the employee lifecycle, with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, and compliance.
You'll partner with managers across the organisation to deliver seamless recruitment processes, maintain compliance with workplace legislation and company policies, and help build a culture of accountability, fairness, and safety.
What You'll Do- Manage end-to-end recruitment, from advertising through to interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Partner with managers to deliver effective and timely recruitment outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards, EBAs, and BRG policies.
- Maintain employee records, contracts, and HRIS data.
- Monitor licences, certifications, and probations, ensuring timely renewals.
- Respond to queries on policies, entitlements, and compliance requirements.
- Support induction planning, policy application, and compliance audits.
- Promote WHS compliance and support wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
- 2–4 years' experience in HR or recruitment, ideally in a multi-site or complex organisation.
- Experience with HRIS and recruitment systems (e.g., Employment Hero or similar).
- Sound knowledge of Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Resilience and adaptability to balance competing priorities.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or related field (desirable).
