Maintenance Technician

Dreamworld is home to the biggest thrill rides on the planet We're offering a unique and diverse opportunity for a qualified Mechanical Fitter/Welder to join our Engineering team and help keep the fun running smoothly behind the scenes.

What's the role?

As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing rides, plant, and equipment across Dreamworld. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and critical to ensuring our guests continue to have safe and unforgettable experiences.

Shift Samples – Enjoy 3 Days Off Every 4 Shifts 

Start your journey with a Monday to Friday, 6 AM – 2\:30 PM shift while you get familiar with the park. Once you're all set, you will be assigned to one of the rosters below:

•    Roster 1: Sunday to Wednesday, 6 AM – 4\:30 PM

•    Roster 2: Wednesday to Saturday, 6 AM – 4\:30 PM

*Please note rosters may be subject to change dependent on business requirements

What we're looking for:

To be considered, you must be a qualified Mechanical Fitter with a minimum of five years post-trade experience and a solid background in industrial maintenance. Strong diagnostic and repair skills in the following areas are essential:

•    Hydraulic and pneumatic systems

•    Pumps and dewatering systems

•    Heavy fixed plant repair

•    Welding and fabrication experience

A current manual driver's licence is required, and while EWP and forklift licences would be a bonus, they're not essential.
