We are seeking a fully qualified refrigeration and air conditioning technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial refrigeration to ensure optimal performance. If you have a passion for working with HVAC-R systems and enjoy troubleshooting and problem-solving, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration equipment
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC-R equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Install, maintain, repair, troubleshoot and diagnose issues with ice machines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with team members

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
  • ARC licence and full RAC
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial refrigeration
  • Valid driver's licence

About You:

  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, proactive and able to plan ahead
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to go on a rotating on-call roster with on call allowance (generally 1 in 5weeks)
  • Willingness to work approved overtime
  • Experience with Simpro mobile an advantage but not necessary
