About us

Crossmuller is an innovative and progressive multi-disciplined company specialising in manufacturing design, automation and systems integration. Our Engineering division designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.

We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer with Industrial Structural Engineering experience to join our team based in Sydney or the Central Coast. This role would suit a Structural Engineer looking to expand their skillset in a growing and thriving business.

Key responsibilities:

· Analysis of structural steel designs and building projects

· Ensuring design solutions comply with local and national codes and standards

· Preparation of technical reports

· Working closely project managers, site teams, drafting team and external consultants to ensure structural solutions are safe, compliant and delivered to the highest standard

· Interpret architectural & engineering drawings

· Complete Spacegass 3D Modelling for the industrial structural steel element of the project

· Modelling & preparing detailed construction drawings of concrete elements whenever applicable

· Delivering to the agreed schedules for all projects

· Responding to workshop & construction site queries

Requirements and Qualifications:

· A positive work ethic and team player.

· Excellent knowledge and practical application of compliance requirements, company & industry standards, regulations, practices and codes.

· Tertiary qualifications in relevant engineering discipline.

· years hands-on experience as a structural design engineer for industrial and commercial projects.

· Experience using structural analysis and design software.

· Excellent communication and organisational skills.

· Strong time management and prioritisation skills.

This is a full-time permanent position within our Engineering team. To be successful you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.
