About the role

We are seeking an experienced Resource Geologist to join our dynamic team in West Perth, Western Australia with occasional site travel to our project site in southern Chile. This full-time role will play a pivotal part in our ongoing exploration and development efforts, contributing to the strategic growth and success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Maintaining the site Leapfrog project; including wireframe creation, reviews and controller
  2. Conducting block modelling
  3. Delivering training in wireframing techniques and the fundamentals of resource geology
  4. Working with the team to design and implement Leapfrog Seequent Central with the goal of standardising modelling procedures across the team
  5. Assisting with validation and maintenance of the acQuire geological database
  6. Compiling and organising historical mine data.
  7. Running Estimations (datamine preference).
  8. Participating in peer reviews and resource-specific exploration planning

What we're looking for

Essential:

  1. 5+ years' experience in geological modelling
  2. 3+ years' underground experience
  3. Proficiency in the 3D software package Leapfrog Geo
  4. Strong knowledge of geological databases, in particular acQuire
  5. Sound knowledge of structural geology and alteration
  6. Excellent communication, teamwork and mentoring skills

Highly regarded:

  1. Low Sulphidation Epithermal experience or narrow vein gold experience highly regarded
  2. Spanish language skills highly regarded
  3. Experience implementing Seequent Central
  4. Familiarity with compiling/managing historical geological data
  5. Exposure to Datamine software, inhouse training provided
