Geologist Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Resource Development Geologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and providing technical mentoring and training to field personnel, as well as overseeing drilling programs and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise drilling programs and contractors
  • Compile brownfields and resource targets
  • Liaise with the Resource modelling team
  • Perform geological mapping and geochemical sampling
  • Critically review and continuously improve targeting techniques
  • Contribute to the identification of exploration targets and planning of exploration programs

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Tertiary qualified Geologist with recent and relevant regional exploration experience
  • General geological experience including geological modelling and reserve estimation
  • Drill supervision experience
  • Passion for making new discoveries and converting ounces into resource
  • Computer literate with competence in industry standard mining software
