About The Role
As a Dental Assisting Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting students undertaking the Certificate in Dental Assisting through traineeships and workplace-based learning. This role focuses on delivering training and assessment directly within dental practices, allowing students to gain practical skills and knowledge in real working environments.

You will engage closely with both students and dental employers to ensure training is aligned with industry standards and supports the individual learning needs of each student.

The role is primarily field-based, with regular travel to student placement sites across the region. While most placements are local, regional travel — including visits as far as Mildura — will be required approximately every 10 to 12 weeks. A TAFE vehicle will be provided for work-related travel, along with accommodation and a meal allowance when overnight stays are necessary.
