TSA - Site OHS&E Officer - Melbourne

Tradetech Services Aust (TSA) is seeking the services of a suitably trained and educated OHS&E officer to provide safety oversights with its field based civil works activities. The work sites are generally large scale EBA environments and a successful candidate will be comfortable in these surrounds. To be specific:

  • This is a field-based role where the applicant will need to have office-based skills. Systems, report writing, email correspondence etc.
  • Participate and contribute to overall safety protocols on large sites, represent the company in meetings, play a vital role in safety and progress.
  • Manage the safety Process & Procedures with field staff calmly and professionally, be an excellent communicator.
  • Understand audits and safety assessment frameworks, reports, investigations, findings and how they should be communicated and actioned.
  • Drive independent investigations, through to outcome-based completion where required.
  • Move across projects and play the lead in OHS&E safety as required per work environment.
  • Be highly responsive with TSA site management AND boots on the ground in your day to day activities.

Having construction knowledge, and in particular, EBA sites and their associated civil works would be advantageous. A self-driven person who works independently, has a passion for safety, whilst engaging with all staff across the company. A motivated person who has great energy for safety and environment.
