About the role

We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our family run Bakery located at Mannum, SA. This is a casual position, offering flexible hours or more substantial hours to suit your availability. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service whilst selling our beautiful products,making barista style coffee and doing multiple tasks to keep the shop and Bakery in a clean and inviting state at all times.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Answering customer queries and offering product recommendations
  3. Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  4. Maintaining the store's visual merchandising and product displays
  5. Restocking and organising merchandise as required
  6. Adhering to company policies and procedures
  7. Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Attention to detail in cleaning and the ability to multitask is essential
  4. A positive, friendly, respectful and helpful attitude
  5. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
