We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Childcare Receptionist to join our vibrant team. This full-time role is essential in supporting the seamless day-to-day operations of our highly regarded Centre.


About the Role

As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for children, families, visitors, and staff. You'll manage reception operations, provide administrative support, and help ensure our Centre runs smoothly every day.


What You'll Be Doing
  • Providing a warm and welcoming first impression for families, children, and visitors
  • Answering phones, managing bookings & payments, and maintaining child records
  • Supporting new families with enrolments and orientation
  • Assisting with staff schedules and attendance
  • Carrying out general administration tasks to support the leadership team
  • Ensuring the reception area is always organised and well-presented

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in administration or customer service (childcare/education preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with families, children, and staff
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office
  • A genuine passion for early education and supporting families
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professional standards
  • Current First Aid certificate & Child Protection training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Preferred: Certificate III or Diploma in Childcare
  • Essential: Valid Paid Blue Card
