Senior Aged Care Professional

The Senior Aged Care Professional will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to residents within a designated area of the facility. The role involves leading a team of care staff, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring that each resident receives personalized attention and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of care staff to ensure excellent care outcomes and a positive working environment.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care and services.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in continuous learning and professional development.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members and contribute to a positive work culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (APRHA) is essential.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in aged care or a related field is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of care staff effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and basic Excel skills.
