Role Summary

As a Finance Manager, you will take a strategic and hands-on leadership role, overseeing a team of multiple direct and indirect reports. Key responsibilities include:

- Managing Quarterly Reporting and ensuring compliance with complex legislation
- Full responsibility for effective management reporting and financial analysis
- Partnering with senior leadership to take a lead role in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Engaging with a range of stakeholders to provide key financial advice and insights
- Providing financial analysis to support new development projects, including a significant expansion
- Providing effective leadership including upskilling the finance business partnering capability within your team and driving continuous improvement across processes and systems.
- Navigating and implementing changes to care legislation and regulations across

Skills and Requirements

We are looking for a motivated, strategic, and detail-oriented professional with leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have:

- Qualifications: CA or CPA is mandatory.
- Management accounting/finance expertise, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Background in aged care or retirement villages is highly desirable but not essential.
- Proven leadership and ability to manage/mentor a team of eight.
- Business partnering experience that fosters collaboration with operational and senior-level teams.
- A "can-do" attitude with inquisitiveness and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Willingness to dive into detailed and complex financial and regulatory matters when required.
