Groundsman

Wollongong Golf Club is a renowned and prestigious club committed to providing an exceptional golfing experience for our members and guests. Our beautifully maintained course is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our team.

We are currently seeking a full-time Groundsman to join our Course Maintenance team. This role is responsible for a wide range of greenkeeping and general maintenance duties to ensure our course and surrounding areas remain in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general greenkeeping duties, including mowing, bunker raking, edging, trimming and landscaping.
• Assist with turf care and course presentation to the highest standards.
• Safely operate and maintain specialised equipment such as mowers, utility vehicles and other machinery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the maintenance facility and equipment.
• Comply with Workplace Health & Safety requirements, including the use of PPE.
• Support seasonal projects and course improvements as directed by the Course Superintendent.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in grounds, turf, or landscaping maintenance preferred (golf course experience highly regarded but not essential).
• Current driver's licence.
• ChemCert certificate desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• A team player with a positive attitude.
