As part of the Spring Early Learning team, you will:
Lead Educator
- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of developmentally appropriate, play-based programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Mentor and support educators and assistants, fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.
- Build strong partnerships with families and the community to enhance children's learning experiences.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of children's learning and progress.
- Ensure the centre complies with all regulatory requirements, including the National Quality Framework and workplace health and safety.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the centre's philosophy and policies.
Educator and Diploma Educator
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate programs that promote children's learning, wellbeing, and development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Contribute to observations and documentation to support children's individual learning journeys.
- Support the Lead Educator in maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Comply with centre policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Assistant Educator
- Assist in delivering daily programs that support children's care and learning under supervision.
- Build trusting and respectful relationships with children and support their individual needs.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children and families.
- Support educators in documentation and preparation of learning spaces.
- Collaborate with the team to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Follow centre policies and safety procedures diligently.
We're looking for candidates who have relevant qualifications for the role:
- Lead Educator: Diploma or Bachelor-level qualification in Early Childhood Education
- Educator and Diploma Educator: Certificate III / Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Assistant Educator: Working towards formal qualification
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
- A valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Up-to-date Child Protection training
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for early childhood education
- A proactive attitude and commitment to professional growth
