Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand Fitter to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong mobile plant knowledge, who enjoys leading by example and ensuring both equipment and people are performing at their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with site safety standards and actively contribute to a safe work environment
  • Coordinate and execute the agreed weekly plan with the site and offsite support teams
  • Ensure maintenance activities are completed to the highest possible standards
  • Manage parts freight on and off site
  • Liaise with clients and manage priorities accordingly

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Licences & Tickets

  • Current WA Driver's Licence (HR preferred)
  • Recognised Australian Trade Qualification
  • White/Blue Card (desirable)
  • National Police Clearance (desirable)

Personal Attributes

  • Previous experience in a Leading Hand or Supervisory role within the mining industry
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments and schedules while managing competing priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace
  • Ability to mentor and support team members
