We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Carbon and Sustainability Consultant to support clients in measuring, managing, and reducing their environmental impact. In this role, you will help businesses assess their carbon footprints, develop sustainability strategies, and align with industry standards such as GHG Protocol, Science Based Targets (SBTi), and relevant ESG frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct carbon footprint assessments using Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions methodologies.
  • Analyse operational and supply chain data to identify key emissions drivers.
  • Develop and deliver carbon reduction strategies and sustainability action plans.
  • Support clients in reporting to frameworks such as CDP, TCFD, GRI, and SBTi.
  • Collaborate with internal and client teams to gather data, set targets, and track progress.
  • Monitor evolving environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Prepare clear, data-driven sustainability reports and presentations.
  • Advise on carbon offsetting, renewable energy procurement, and decarbonisation pathways.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in carbon accounting, environmental consulting, or sustainability strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of GHG Protocol, life cycle analysis, and carbon management tools (e.g., SimaPro, Climate Active, CRREM, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to clients.
  • Passion for climate action and sustainability leadership.

Desirable

  • Certification in carbon accounting (e.g., ISO 14064, Climate Active Consultant).
  • Familiarity with ESG frameworks and corporate reporting standards.
  • Experience working with clients across multiple industries.
