Casual Educators Wanted

The Greek Orthodox Community Childcare Centre, a not-for-profit service located in Petersham, is currently seeking enthusiastic and professional Certificate III and Diploma-qualified educators to join our dedicated team on a casual basis.

We are a long day care centre licensed by the NSW Department of Community Services, operating in full compliance with all regulations and guidelines for Centre-Based Child Care Services.

We uphold and implement strict child safety protocols and policies, ensuring a nurturing and secure environment for all. Our Service is committed to providing a safe environment for children and young people. We understand our responsibilities and statutory duty of care to keep children safe and comply with the Child Safe Standards.

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

A passion for working with children

What We're Looking For?

Educators who are more than just qualified, but have a strong passion who bring, creativity, and commitment to their role as an educator. You'll thrive in this position if you:

• Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA Approved)
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Have current First Aid/CPR, Child Protection, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Training
• Understanding of Child Safe Standards
• Food Handling certificate or willing to obtain

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $33.96 – $38.24 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 38 per week
