About the role
Air Mechanical is seeking an experienced Air conditioning Pipe Supervisor & Pipe Installer (Two roles) to join our team. This is a casual role based in Sydney, NSW, where you will be responsible for overseeing and completing the installation of air conditioning pipework and related systems.
What you'll be doing
- Supervise and coordinate a team of pipe installers to ensure efficient and high-quality air conditioning pipe installations
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to plan and direct the installation of air conditioning pipework and associated components
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process
- Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety guidelines
- Provide on-site training and mentoring to less experienced pipe installers
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the installation projects
What we're looking for
- Significant experience (9+ years) as an air conditioning pipe supervisor and (3+ years) as an air conditioning pipe installer.
- Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems and pipework installation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Certification III in air conditioning installation are highly desirable
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
