About the role

Air Mechanical is seeking an experienced Air conditioning Pipe Supervisor & Pipe Installer (Two roles) to join our team. This is a casual role based in Sydney, NSW, where you will be responsible for overseeing and completing the installation of air conditioning pipework and related systems.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise and coordinate a team of pipe installers to ensure efficient and high-quality air conditioning pipe installations
  2. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to plan and direct the installation of air conditioning pipework and associated components
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process
  4. Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety guidelines
  5. Provide on-site training and mentoring to less experienced pipe installers
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the installation projects

What we're looking for

  1. Significant experience (9+ years) as an air conditioning pipe supervisor and (3+ years) as an air conditioning pipe installer.
  2. Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems and pipework installation
  3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  4. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  5. Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  6. Certification III in air conditioning installation are highly desirable
  7. Commitment to safety and quality standards
